الملخص

أدّى تظافر مجموعة من العوامل إلى الوصول بالصحافة وتدريسها إلى حافة الانهيار. ومن بين هذه العوامل صعود اليمين المتطرف، وتقدم التكنولوجيا الرقمية، وتدهور البنى الاقتصادية لوسائل الاعلام. وتقدم هذه العوامل متحدة مع تزايد عولمة الصحافة والاعلام تحدياتٍ وفرصاً جديدة للصحافة والاعلام مهنيا وتربويا. يقدم هذا البحث 10 مبادئ أساسية لتوجيه عملية تدريس الصحافة والاتصال دوليًا وتعزيزها. ونقدم أيضّا مبدأً ختاميًا لتدريس الصحافة والاتصال يمكن اعتماده أساسًا لتعليم طلبة الكليات على نحو عام.
