    The “ALBAHITH ALALAMI “Journal, a peer-reviewed quarterly scientific journal issued by the College of Mass communication at the University of Baghdad, is pleased to invite you to participate in its special issue on the topic of drugs. We aim to shed light on this vital topic from mass communication perspective and invite you to submit your articles and research that address various issues related to drugs and their impacts through media and communication.

    Suggested Topics:

    • The role of media in raising awareness about the dangers of drugs.
    • The impact of digital media and social networks in shaping public opinion on drugs.
    • Media and its relationship with public opinion formation regarding anti-drug policies.
    • Media's role in highlighting the stories of individuals recovering from drug addiction.
    • Media ethics in covering drug-related issues.
    • The role of media in changing stereotypes about drug users.
    • Alternative media and its role in spreading awareness to combat drugs.
    • Using media to enhance cooperation between local communities and government agencies in combating drugs.

    Therefore, we invite you to submit your research proposals and contribute to enriching this special issue with your opinions and expertise regarding the topic of combating drugs.
